Fingerpicking Bible
"This book is a complete mixture of fingerpicking arrangements and music styles, with varying degrees of difficulty. Started out listening to all the cd's to find the songs i wanted to learn. Marked off about a third of the book that i want to learn (which is still a lot of songs), the rest not being 'my cup of tea'. I suppose therefore the only real critisim i have about the book is it covers all types and ranges of fingerpicking music, and that you may, like me, not be interested in learning a lot of the songs on offer. Outstanding Overview of the Genre
"Unquestionably the broadest instructional book covering the breadth of outstanding modern fingerstyle artists. Mel Bay is to be lauded for putting this together. The 3 CDs alone are worth the price of admission. Warning: These pieces are VERY CHALLENGING even for most long-time guitarists. It is not by any means a Beginners book, as indicated in the description. But if you are a beginner however, this book may inspire you, but you won't be able to play any of the tunes!"
