For beginner to early intermediate folks
"This collection of pieces is an excellent companion to Mel Bay's "Method for the Modern Guitar" grades 1 and/or 2, but also good for anyone who can play at least a little on the guitar from written music (no tabulature, no words, no chord diagrams here). Here the beginning guitarist gets to actually play a song that often isn't much harder than the lesson and lesson-tunes in the aforementioned books, but is longer and more melodic and at the same time reinforces the lessons. My copy came stapled, but at only 24 pages it lies fairly flat when open. There is a range of difficulty from easy to rather challenging as the title of the book suggests. Well worth the price."
