The Beatles Guitar Techniques

Performed by The Beatles. Instructional book (guitar excerpts only) for guitar and voice. 144 pages. Published by Hal Leonard.

With guitar tablature, standard notation, vocal melody, lyrics, chord names, guitar chord diagrams, instructional text and introductory text.
Not only is this a stylistic analysis of the guitar licks and solos of the Beatles, but a deeper study of John, Paul and George's individual guitar concepts andtechniques. A wonderful chronological sampling of early and later Beatles material is covered, complete with lessons and details on the Beatle who actually played the guitar parts. A must for anyone wanting an inside look at the Beatles songs.

Need
"This is it! Many, many selections to choose from. While a few songs are presented in their entirety, the majority of the book contains the main riffs or solos from the songs. So don't think you're getting everything for this price. Granted, some songs only contain one main riff or two, so you end up getting almost the whole song anyway. Most of the songs are from the "White" album and before. Great commentary and insight on the guitar styles of the group. All guitar parts are noted with who played them. Several can't be determined as George, Paul, and John couldn't remember who played what on a few tracks! Good mix of acoustic and electric songs. "Come together" and learn these tunes!"
